Roberta is the chaos behind each illustration. To her, making art is like finding a safe space—where weird meets wonderful. Her style is a vibrant mix of childhood nostalgia and queer identity, seamlessly infused with elements of mischief, a rebellious spirit, and a dash of ADHD.
In 2016, burdened by her silence in a world filled with challenges, she adopted a naive yet enduring belief: art has the power to transform and shape our world, or at the very least, spark meaningful conversations. Rejecting conformity, she embraced the night as her refuge, where she could craft illustrations that explored the fragile line between madness and sanity, reveling in society’s wonderfully weird contradictions. For her, creating art became a profoundly underrated form of self-therapy.
Her art never remains silent. By amplifying her own voice, she subconsciously grants others permission to do the same, courageously being loud in a world that often forces silence.
